Mmm CG Bread

A lovely little render from the creative talents of Bertrand Benoit brings some Bits of Bread to life. His work can be discovered (along with plenty of detail around the processes and software used) on his BB3viz site.

This charming render was crafted using a suit of tools that started with capturing real breat with Autodesk's 123D Catch, Moving into 3DS Max, Bertrand used the conform tools with the scan as the base to create a new mesh that is then UV unwrapped and textured using high res photos in photoshop. ZBrush and VRay round out the toolset and deliver such a yummy result.
